Training for WC Fire precedes Fire Prevention Week
This past week or so was a busy one at the Webster City Fire Department.
A bit more than a week ago there was a combine fire. Unfortunately, it appeared to be a total loss.
Then, a week ago this evening there was a vehicle extrication drill. (Photo on page 3) The department is getting bids on a new battery-operated cutter and had five vendors out to demo their equipment.
The city also did hydrant flushing, to ensure all hydrants are in good working order.
What’s up next?
