JEWELL — The South Hamilton girls golf team placed third here last Thursday behind Roland-Story and West Marshall in action.

The Hawks finished with a team score of 251, as Roland-Story fired a 173 and West Marshall carded a 192.

Arynn Luppes led the way for South Hamilton with a 58 while Sophie Nibe had a 63 and Grace Larson a 64. Both Ava Corbin and Sydney Gelder shot rounds of 66.

The Hawks compete on Monday in a quadrangular with Panorama, Woodward-Granger and Bondurant-Farrar at Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona.
