ALLEMAN — The Webster City boys tennis team lost to North Polk, 9-0 on Thursday.

“It was obviously a tough night for our boys,” said Webster City head coach Mark Fisher. “But also knowing that North Polk’s boys have been traditionally very strong. We’re still just working to build up a culture with our boys tennis program.

“So even a match like this is good for them to learn some things and understand what it takes.”

The Lynx are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Hampton-Dumont/CAL.
