ON A ROLL
The Webster City boys picked up their first victory of 2025 here Tuesday night, blasting Hampton-Dumont/CAL, 62-42.
The 62 points scored were the most for the Lynx (4-9 overall, 3-4 in North Central Conference) this season, surpassing the 56 they scored in a loss to Clarion-Goldfield/Dows earlier this month.
An early lead helped Webster City take control of the contest, as they were ahead 15-8 after the first and 25-23 at the half. In the third, they maintained the advantage before going on a 23-7 run in the fourth to secure the win.
The Lynx have now won three straight against the Bulldogs (3-9, 1-6) and 31 of the last 37 meetings overall since 2006.
Webster City heads to Humboldt on Friday night.
