No. 2 Clear Lake defeats Lynx boys
The Webster City boys fell to second-ranked (Class 3A) Clear Lake at home on Tuesday night, 64-37.
The Lions controlled the contest, going on a 19-7 run to start before turning that into a 26-point halftime edge.
Over the final 16 minutes, the Lynx played even with Clear Lake, as the Lions outscored them 20-19 in the third before a 7-7 draw in the fourth.
For Clear Lake (7-0 overall), Thomas Meyer had 18 points and Jaxson McIntire added 15.
Webster City. which is now 3-5, will look to secure a victory on Friday when they travel to Clarion-Goldfield/Dows.
