JEWELL — The South Hamilton girls dropped a tough 46-45 decision to Saydel here Tuesday night.

In a back-and-forth affair, the Eagles were able to get the winning points, as Paige Rumman scored 22 with 15 rebounds.

With the loss, the Hawks suffered their fourth defeat in the last five games, with this one being the closest yet. Saydel, meanwhile, has won four of its last five overall.

South Hamilton heads to Grand View Christian on Friday night.
