DES MOINES — The South Hamilton boys fell in an early hole here last Friday to sixth-ranked (Class 2A) Grand View Christian and never recovered.

The Thunder took a 24-point lead after the first on their way to posting a 69-23 victory over the Hawks.

Grant Larson scored 10 points to lead South Hamilton as Benjamin Swenson and King Brown each had three. Liam Ealy had a team-high seven rebounds.

For Grand View Christian, William Seyler knocked down 10 three-pointers, scoring a game-high 32 points. Emiliano Barrantes had 21 points with 12 rebounds and eight blocks.

The Hawks head to Roland-Story on Tuesday before hosting South Hardin Friday night.
