Late surge lifts South Hamilton girls
JEWELL — A big fourth quarter led the South Hamilton girls to their second consecutive win, as the Hawks topped Grand View Christian here Friday night, 41-32.
Down by four entering the final eight minutes, South Hamilton (2-3 overall) outscored the Thunder (3-3), 19-9, adding to a 42-40 victory over Saydel last Tuesday.
This was the first meeting between the Hawks and Grand View Christian.
South Hamilton remains at home to finish out 2024, hosting Roland-Story on Tuesday and West Marshall on Friday. The Hawks open 2025 on Thursday, Jan. 2 against St. Edmond in Des Moines from Wells Fargo Arena.
