Webster City runs at Eagle Grove
EAGLE GROVE — The Webster City cross country teams took advantage of great weather to run here Tuesday at the Dick Bell Invitational.
Isabel Grossoehme finished 11th overall in the girls race, clocking a time of 22:34.49.
Overall, the Lynx girls placed eighth. Forest City won team gold with North Iowa’s Lauren Hillesland winning the race in 20:12.34.
Sydney Oswald was 39th, Lydia VanDeer finished 46th, Abby Peterson was 62nd, Heidi Mendoza placed 75th, Karina Murray was 85th and Isabelle McNiel finished 91st.
Justin Callahan , Jack Barner and Gabe Thumma all finished in the Top-20 for the boys, as Callahan was 13th in 18:17.65. Barner placed 17th and Thumma was 20th.
Ivan Lopez placed 49th, Jackson Olmstead was 58th, Kyzer Zinnel finished 69th, Kaleb Draeger was 72nd, Arlen Lake was 77th, Landis Powgnas finished 82nd, Owen Patterson was 91st, Tariq Burtin 98th, Jordan Betts 108th and Ben Youngdale 135th.
Webster City finished fourth overall as Forest City also won boys gold with Gavin Grunhovd from North Iowa placing first in 16:22.39.
