Jaxon Griffith, Keegan Hisler and Josh Stansfield were all recognized as first team all-North Central Conference selections for the Webster City baseball team.

Griffith and Hisler were each unanimous choices for the Lynx, who went 9-4 in league action this past summer.

Braylon Dyvig, Trevyn Lyons, Briar Klaver and Josh Griep each made the second team while Matthew Tesdahl landed on the third.

Griffith, a sophomore, was the top base stealer in the conference, swiping 22 bags. He also had the third-most runs scored with 21 and recorded two triples, which tied for first.

Hisler, a senior, finished third in the league in batting with a .472 average while ranking third with a .620 on-base percentage and fifth with a .639 slugging. On the mound, he had a .146 opponent batting average, which ranked fifth.

Griep did not allow a run over 10 innings of league play while opponents hit just .100 off him, which was second-lowest. He allowed just four hits total and walked only two, which placed him first.

Dyvig was fourth with a 1.31 earned run average.

Klaver recorded 14 hits and scored 14 runs, driving in nine, and Lyons had 13 hits with 14 runs scored and drew 10 walks. Tesdahl had 12 RBI and three doubles, scoring 11 times.

Hisler was hit by eight pitches in NCC action, the most, while Griffith and Stansfield tied for second with seven.
