The Webster City wrestling squad is fifth in Class 2A according to IAWrestle’s latest state rankings.

The Lynx have four rated individuals: junior Carson Doolittle (1st at 120 pounds), senior CJ Hisler (first at 195), freshman Linden Phetxoumphone (first at 106) and junior Jaxon Cherry (fourth at 220).

Osage is the No. 1 team in 2A, followed by West Delaware, West Burlington, Sergeant Bluff-Luton and the Lynx.

Webster City, which is also seventh in the 2A dual rankings, hosts Hampton-Dumont/CAL on Thursday in the Lynx gym.
