The Spirit of Christmas blesses us

The Angel Tree at Kendall Young Library.

Dear Citizens of Webster City,

First, I want to thank all those kind souls who have already sponsored an Angel from the Angel Trees located at Kendall Young Library and Peoples Credit Union. The Webster City Ministerial Association is proud to administer this program, and your generosity is surely going to help make a child’s Christmas much brighter!

This year we had an unprecedented number of Angel Tree applications — over 350! Our goal is to have every one of these Angels receive gifts, but to make that happen we are asking for more members of our community to sponsor an Angel. We currently have 80+ Angels still on the trees at our two locations, and we are running out of time.

If you have been thinking of sponsoring an Angel, now is the time to do so. And if you would like to sponsor an Angel but can’t do the shopping, please consider making a monetary donation. Make your check payable to the Webster City Ministerial Association and in the memo line note “Angel Tree.” Mail your donation to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1005 Beach Street, Webster City, and a volunteer will use your donation to do the shopping for an Angel.

The Spirit of Christmas blesses us all in so many ways, and I hope the Spirit moves you to take an Angel and bless a child. Thank you!
