Dena Flygstad
Dena Flygstad, 94, of Webster City died Friday, March 7, 2025 at Windsor Manor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
Dena Marie Meyering, daughter of Jerry and Henrietta (Jansen) Meyering, was born December 15, 1930, on a farm north of Blairsburg. She graduated from Williams High School. On August 26, 1950, Dena was united in marriage to Kenneth Leo Flygstad at Little Brown Church. She worked for Hahne Printing and Farm Journal. Dena enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.
She is survived by her son, Alan Flygstad of Webster City; daughter, Carole (Richard) Flygstad Gougeon of Albany, OR; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Dena was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in 2013; her parents; and sisters, Eveline Peck and Pauline Harp.
