Jean Dingman

Jean Dingman, 75, of Webster City, died Friday, February 21, 2025 at Van Diest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Anchor Point-First Baptist Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the funeral at Graceland Cemetery. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.

Jean Ann Petersen, daughter of Ronald and Ruth (Passwaters) Petersen, was born June 13, 1949, in Webster City. She graduated from Webster City high school in 1969. On June 12, 1971, Jean was united in marriage to Leonard Duane Dingman. The couple resided in Webster City. Jean had worked for Crestview Nursing Home, Hardee’s and provided babysitting for 30 years in her home.

She is survived by her daughters, Robin Draeger of Webster City, Tami Roney of Charles City; grandchildren, Colby Draeger of Manson, Kenadee (Zack) Schreiber of Dakota City; sister, Judy Warwick of Story City; sister-in-law, Donna Adams of Dana; brothers-in-law, Doug (Sharon) Dingman of Albuquerque, NM, Jeff (Barb) Dingman of Webster City; her beloved dog, Gracie, and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; her parents, Ronald and Ruth; son-in-law, Chad Draeger; brothers, Charles Petersen, David Petersen Sr.; brother-in-law, Bob Warwick; sister-in-law, Betty Colleen Caquelin; and dogs, Bridget and Berrie.

She was a member of the Anchor Point-First Baptist Church and was a past circle member. Jean enjoyed knitting, and spending time with family and her dogs.
