Faye Nicholson
Faye Corine Dinsdale Nicholson, 88, of Webster City, died on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at her home in Webster City. No services are planned. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com).
Faye was born on May 9, 1936, to Russell and Eva (Manion) Dinsdale in Webster City, Iowa. She attended the Webster City Schools, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1954. Faye married Leslie Nicholson on November 18, 1956. She and Leslie worked on the family farm in the Stonega area, raising livestock and crops. After her retirement, she enjoyed working for Sho-Dust Bedding.
Faye has a variety of interests including gardening, quilting, and fishing in Canada and Missouri. She was active with her children’s 4-H and livestock shows, enjoyed camping at the Iowa State Fair and her afternoon social hour with her apartment friends. Most of all Faye cherished spending time with her family.
Her family includes three children: Lisa (Joel) Anderson of Story City, Stacie (Mike) Royster of Fort Dodge, and Scott (Jenni) Nicholson, of Grand Junction; five grandchildren: Matt (Katie) Royster, Taylor Licht, Kacie Royster, Brittany (Nick) Donscheski and Dustin Nicholson; five great-grandchildren: Carter, Aspen, Adalyn, Oaklyn and Maci; brothers-in-law: Eldon Nicholson and Maynard (Bonnie) Nicholson; and sister-in-law: Arlene Mosher. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters: Betty Nail and Donna Huffmyer; sister-in-law Fae Nicholson; brothers-in-law: Raymond Nail, Duane Nicholson, and Gene Mosher; nephews: Nick Nail and Robert Nicholson; and niece Mindy Musich.
