Jesse Harold Ostheimer was born January 14, 1983, to James and Judy Ostheimer.
Jesse, the most loving and devoted son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend, is survived by his parents James and Rhonda Ostheimer of Iowa Falls, his sisters Lisa(Scott) Renaud of Alden, Natalie (Mitchell) Mosch of Iowa Falls, Shonda (Paul) Duve of Stockton, MO, and his brother Chris Parr (Samantha) of Iowa Falls plus his nieces Grace (Garrett) Hoover and Betsy Mosch and his nephews Garret Renaud and Paul and Glen Mosch, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and his Aruba and Finland family. In addition, Jesse also had four bonus siblings-Mark Scallon, Sara Scallon Bonney, Amy Scallon Geis and John Scallon.
Upon graduation from Iowa Falls-Alden High School, Jesse attended Ellsworth Community College’s two-year carpentry program while working part time with Joe and Linda Scallon. That part time job became a full-time job as he worked with them on their many agricultural endeavors and community projects. And in recent years, he enjoyed crop farming with Joe or the Renaud brothers, plus working as an area handyman and tree service with his good friend and cousin, MJ (Laura) Belken.
Jesse was a truly great man whose impact will be forever missed by his community and his family that loved him dearly. He was a selfless man who loved to help anyone in need. Although not a dad himself, he was always Grace, Garret, and Owen’s first call when they needed help. When asked by anyone to help, his comment was always, “I’m in!’
With his nephew Owen Renaud, Jesse was called to his eternal home doing what they loved, flying. In addition to aviation, Jesse enjoyed scuba diving and ultimately became a Dive Master. His adventures took him on many diving exhibitions to Aruba and Bonaire as well as special trips to Finland.
Jesse was preceded in death by his mother Judy Ostheimer, his brother J.R. Ostheimer, and his grandparents Robert and Wilma Ostheimer, Dale and Helen Sorenson, Gordon and Joyce Brockman, and his great-grandmother Anabel Ostheimer.
