Mary Edith Wheeler
Mary Wheeler of Atlantic, formerly of Webster City, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Heritage House in Atlantic, Iowa.
She was born on October 7, 1925, in Swindon, England, to Victor and Alice (Watson) Beard. She married Sgt. Roland Ingamells in 1944 in England. She came to America in 1946. Roland died in 1966. In 1971 she married Kenneth Wheeler who died in 1996.
Preceding Mary in death are her parents; infant son, Stephen; son, Raymond; husband, Roland; husband, Kenneth; son-in-law, two daughters-in-law.
Mary is survived by her three children, Carole Davis, Susan (Brian) Elliott, Patricia (Patrick) Ribbey; stepchildren, Richard, Duane (Shirley), Gordon, Ronald (Linda) Wheeler; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, at United Church of Christ in Atlantic.
Graveside burial service will be Wednesday July 17, 11:00 at St.Paul Lutheran Church, 3726 Nelson Ave., Jewell IA
