Judy DeHart
Judy Marlene DeHart passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2024. Preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Mae Butler; her brother, Robert Alvin Butler; and her son, Murray Scott DeHart, and his wife, Robin (Johnson) DeHart. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 65 years, Donald DeHart; her sons, Mark David DeHart (Leigh Utley) and Michael Robert DeHart (Leslie Haddock); and her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn Tyler Burton (Matthew Burton), Kyle Travis DeHart, Tyler Aaron DeHart, Zachary Scott DeHart, and Alexis Ann Elle (Benjamin Elle).
Born on December 31, 1939, in Webster City, Iowa, Judy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1957. She met Donald Dean DeHart in a junior college English class in 1957. They married on August 30, 1959, in Webster City, embarking on a life of adventure due to Donald’s career in the U.S. Air Force. They lived in California, Texas, Japan, Nevada, and England, and finally settled in Fort Worth, Texas, where they both worked and retired. In 2008, they moved to Cleveland, Tennessee, to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Judy’s life was filled with love, strength, and cherished memories. Her legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
