Leroy Jensen, 66, of Williams, died Friday, September 6, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Leroy Juhl Jensen, son of Edwin and Helen Trampel Jensen, was born November 24, 1946 in Jewell. He received his education in Williams and graduated from Northeast Hamilton in 1964. He enjoyed helping other with a willing heart. Leroy proudly served his county in the Navy serving two tours in Vietnam and one year in Germany. On September 4, 1971 he married Jennifer Wahlers in Webster City. The couple later divorced. Leroy had a love for the land, as he continued to operate the family farm.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law; Justin and Geraldine Jensen of Kamrar, Jason Jensen and fiance Nicki Gallaher of Arlington, WA; and many grandchildren.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents.
