The Chamber’s Financial Readiness Workshop Series begins today

The Financial Readiness Workshop Series sponsored by the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce begins today at noon.

Tamiann Parrott, of A Counting Parrott, will be offering helpful tips on how to be better prepared when seeking financing.

This free session for Chamber members ($15 for non-members) will take place in the Sampson Room at Fuller Hall, 625 Bank Street, Webster City.

It is designed to help local business owners strengthen their financial skills. Managing business finances can feel overwhelming, but understanding your numbers is key to growth and success.

In this workshop, Parrott will break down important topics, including:

— Keeping up with financial records (without the headache);

— Planning for big expenses before they sneak up on you;

— Getting your business loan-ready;

— Understanding loan options and requirements;

— Accessing helpful financial resources.

Parrott is a Certified Public Bookkeeper with nearly 30 years of experience in the financial world. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus on Finance and Accounting. Since moving to Webster City in 2022, she’s been an active part of the community — serving on the Wilson Brewer Park Foundation Board and playing in the Webster City Municipal Band. Her firm, A Counting Parrott, provides bookkeeping services and is currently accepting new commercial clients.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided, thanks to Greg Littlejohn, Farm Bureau Financial Services.

RSVPs are appreciated but not required — just come ready to learn and take your business finances to the next level.
