The City of Webster City has announced that the Spring Clean Up at Graceland Cemetery will begin on Wednesday, April 2.

It is requested that all flower boxes, wreaths, decorations and flowers — this includes items in above-ground fixtures, which include saddles, vases and planters — be removed before April 2. If items are not removed by April 2, they will be picked up and disposed of by cemetery staff.

After April 20, placing flowers and other decorations in the above-ground fixtures may begin. All decorations that will be placed directly on the ground will not be permitted until nine days prior to Memorial Day, which is on May 26.

The post-Memorial Day removal of flowers will begin on June 10.
