A Florida man was jailed Saturday in Hamilton County after being charged with multiple felony weapons and drug charges.

Jonah Woods Mirino, 26, of Deland, Florida, was pulled over on Saturday, February 1, by Hamilton County Deputy Ethan Krieger for speeding and dark window tint. Upon investigation, Krieger discovered that Mirino was a convicted felon and was also in possession of marijuana, a marijuana grinder, and multiple firearms.

Krieger seized a Smith & Wesson 40-caliber handgun in a backpack in the back seat of the vehicle, as well as two rifles inside a black case in the rear passenger seat, as well as a THC vape in his pocket.

Mirino is charged with three counts of felon in possession of firearms as well as possession of a controlled substance, second offense.

He posted a $1,000 bond and must appear in Hamilton County Court on February 18.
