Kendall Young Library will be hosting a variety of special events early in February.
Puzzle Exchange — The library is inviting patrons to bring in up to two like-new puzzles to exchange for “new to you” puzzles. Beginning on Monday, February 3, patrons can drop off their puzzles and get a ticket(s) to be redeemed starting on Saturday, February 8. Puzzles should be clean and have all the pieces. This exchange is focusing on puzzles 500 pieces or larger.
Valentine Themed Charcuterie Workshop — Register for the library’s Valentine Themed Charcuterie Workshop presented by Letter Eats by B on Thursday, February 6, at 5:30 p.m. During this interactive session, you’ll be guided through the step-by-step process of styling a 10-inch by 10-inch disposable charcuterie tray to take home and enjoy. (The tray will include a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, crackers and homemade vegetable dip.)
Instructor Britt from Letter Eats by B (a charcuterie business located in Boone) will share insider tips, tricks, and techniques to help you master the art of charcuterie presentation like a pro. Registration is required. The cost is $53.50 per person.
All ingredients and materials needed to craft your charcuterie tray are included in the fee.
