City Council of Webster City will meet this evening
The City Council of Webster City will meet this evening in the council chambers of City Hall, 400 Second Street, Webster City.
This meeting begins at 6 p.m.
On the agenda is a public hearing at 6:05 p.m. to discuss the development agreement between the City of Webster City and Kading Properties. That will be followed by the council’s vote on a resolution expressing intent to provide economic development support to Wilson Estates LLC, the development proposed by Kading.
The council is also expected to vote to accept a permanent and temporary easement agreement for sanitary sewers from the owners of Webster City IA Assisted Living Owner, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company.
Also on the agenda is consideration of the the purchase of an Elgin RegenX Street Sweeper via Sourcewell from MacQueen in the amount of $413,318, the purchase of a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD Double Cab to replace the 2002 Chevrolet vehicle from Karl Chevrolet for the Water Treatment Plant, and the purchase of two one-ton 4×4 utility trucks equipped for the Line Department.
The council is expected to go into closed session “to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent.”
