Teams from across Iowa will travel to Webster City for a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) competition to be held at Webster City High School Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

FIRST LEGO League is an international program that teaches students to develop and use critical thinking, coding and design skills to solve problems. The students use LEGO bricks to build a model and computers to make it move or perform a task. A key takeaway for student participants is learning to work together in teams.

The public is invited to attend. There is no charge.
