Boy Scout Troop 17, which the Webster City American Legion Post 191 sponsors, is looking for a new location for the can recycling trailer.

At one time the trailer was located at The Cat Hut, but glass bottles, which the scouts can’t return, resulted in broken glass and a liability problem.

The trailer was moved to the Yes-Way on Superior Street, but that corporation asked that it be removed.

This is why we are now looking for a new location somewhere in town. If you have any suggestions or a place for the trailer, call Richard Stroner at 641-780-2814.

Also please remember that the recycler the scouts use, who is located out of town, will not take glass.

Recyclers are asked to not put glass in the trailer.
