City of Webster City donates to Hamilton County Crimestoppers
Hamilton County Crimestoppers received a donation from the City of Webster City Friday when Mayor John Hawkins handed over a check for $5,000.
Hawkins is pictured giving the check to Crimestoppers representative Craig Hughes.
Also pictured are, from left, Webster City council member Megan McFarland, Hawkins, Hughes, and Crimestoppers representatives Karen Culpepper and the Rev. Craig Blaufuss.
Hamilton County Crimestoppers is a volunteer organization that produces the Hamilton County Most Wanted feature by funding rewards for tips, working with local law enforcement and media.
Here are the ways to submit tips to law enforcement, and through Crimestoppers:
– Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office: 515-832-8437; there is no recording device on this call; the tipster gets an ID number from the sheriff’s office and must call back to determine if there is a capture.
– Tipline portal for P3 inte: www.P3TIPS.com. This is an anonymous tip line.
– Hamilton County Crimestoppers website: hcstopcrime.com.
Cash rewards up to $1,000 per incident are distributed anonymously to the person who gives information leading to an arrest and indictment. All online tips and callers remain anonymous with no pressure to reveal their identity.
Hamilton County Crimestoppers’ tipline is also sponsored by Jerry Goebel, State Farm Agency.
