The City Council of Webster City will meet this evening in the council chambers of City Hall, 400 Second Street, Webster City.

This meeting begins at 6 p.m.

On the agenda is the third reading of an ordinance that will contract the natural gas franchise with Black Hills Energy for 25 years. This contract was passed by voters in the general election November 5.

Also on the agenda, the council will be asked to formally acquire the property “generally located at 547 Second Street and 612 Willson Avenue downtown.

It may also acquire the property at 408 Grove Street.

The council will also be asked to consider a development agreement with Jeff Habhab Construction, Inc. for 614 First Street.
