Arts R Alive in Webster City, Iowa is one of 10 McFarland Clinic grant winners
AMES — McFarland Clinic honored 10 Community Grant recipients at its Trusted Choice
Honors program on November 6.
As part of their annual staff recognition program, McFarland Clinic awarded 10 $1,000 grants — $10,000 total — to local nonprofit organizations nominated by providers and employees. These community grants provide support to organizations directly benefiting residents in the McFarland Clinic service area.
The 10 organizations receiving the McFarland Clinic Community Grants in 2024 include:
– Arts R Alive in Webster City, Webster City;
– Boone Area Humane Society Inc., Boone;
– Breda Recreation League, Breda;
– BSA Troop 101 Story City IA, Story City;
– Child, Adolescent, and Parent Support, Marshalltown;
– Garwin Enrichment League, Garwin;
– Greenbelt Humane Society of Iowa Falls, Iowa Falls;
– Harmony Clothing Closet, Nevada;
– Hunziker Youth Sports Complex – Facilities, Ames;
– Wall Lake Fire & Rescue Department, Wall Lake.
The community grant program began in 2021 as a celebration of McFarland Clinic’s 75th
Anniversary. Providers and staff of McFarland Clinic are invited to nominate an area nonprofit
that benefits residents of McFarland Clinic’s service area. Ten nominations were selected at
random to be awarded one $1,000 grant. The nominator of the winning nomination presented a
check to the nonprofit organization.
McFarland Clinic is central Iowa’s largest physician-owned, multi-specialty clinic with 50+ medical specialties and services. More than 350 McFarland Clinic healthcare providers and 1,100 staff members serve residents in 12 Iowa communities with additional communities served by visiting specialists.
