Farley’s resignation accepted by Webster City school board
In a two-minute meeting, the Webster City Community School District board accepted the assistant high school principal’s resignation.
Patrick Farley’s resignation was the sole action item on the otherwise spare agenda. The vote to accept the resignation was unanimous.
The meeting began at 7:30 a.m. and was adjourned at 7:32 a.m.
Matt Berninghaus, WCCSD superintendent issued the following statement on Monday:
“During a board meeting on December 18, the Webster City Board of Education accepted the resignation of Webster City High School Assistant Principal Pat Farley.
“The resignation will take effect immediately. Because this is a personnel matter, we cannot share further details at this time.
“The district will now begin the process of finding the next assistant principal at WCHS. We will share more information and updates as we are able to do so. In the meantime, our focus will be on continuing to meet the needs of our students and families for the remainder of the school year.”
