Turkey Trot
Once Webster City Park & Recreation employee Mark Glascock gave the final instructions at the starting line of the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in downtown Webster City, the race started. But on a humorous note. Glascock accidentally fired the starter's pistol — twice — prematurely before properly getting the race underway. The runners headed south on Des Moines Street. Approximately 150 people of all ages showed up to run or walk in this year's Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot.
