Joanne Masuguchi Perez, left, joins the Webster City High School Rocketry Club and its sponsors at a memorial luncheon Thursday for Thomas Tritt Myers, who graduated from Webster City in 1964 and worked in the aerospace industry. Perez was a close friend of Myers, who died in May. Myers received his education from Iowa State University and the University of California, Los Angeles. His family home, a farm northeast of Webster City, has been donated to ISU. He was a Rocket Club member in high school.
