The Webster City Women’s Club presented scholarships to two Webster City High School seniors — Riley Walker and Carly Appel — this past Monday night at Mulberry Center Church in Wilson Brewer Park, 220 Ohio St., Webster City.

Shown making the presentation were Vice President Chris Fullerton, Walker, Appel and President Joleen Hibbing.

Club member Donna Foster gave a history presentation about the club to coincide with the club’s 100th anniversary this year. Carol Rash provided a powerpoint about the restoration of a one-room schoolhouse that she was involved with in Odebolt.

Afterwards, club members visited inside the Harmony Center School and had refreshments in the park.
