Quilters create special piece for peace officers’ benefit
The Quilter’s group from Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City made a special quilt for the upcoming Hamilton County Peace Officers Association Benefit Golf Tournament to be held at Briggs Woods on July 15.
The quilt is part of a benefit for Fremont County Deputy Sheriff Austin “Melvin” Richardson’s wife, Jennifer, and daughters, Bryxtol (6), Cheyenne (4) and Everly (2).
This Sunday, Rev. Dori Collogan will bless the quilt and thank the quilters. Denny Hagenson is receiving the quilt on behalf of the organization.
