Three achieve Eagle Scout rank
The highest honor achievable in the Boy Scouts of America was bestowed upon three area youth this past Saturday. Cody Seiser, Brandon Harms and Matthew Borkowski are shown above with Webster City Scoutmaster David Bergeson after receiving their Eagle Scout rank. The Eagle is a rank they have been working toward since joining Cub Scouts in first grade and is the culmination of years of learning and living by the Scout Oath and Scout Law. There are stringent criteria to becoming an Eagle Scout, with only 4 percent of Scouts nationwide earning this rank after a lengthy review process. The ceremony was held for the first time outdoors at the Chad and Linda Borkowski acreage and performed by members of Webster City Boy Scout Troop 17. Cody is the son of Jamie and Robin Seiser, Brandon, the son of Brian Harms and Jodi Harms, and Matthew is the son of Chad and Linda Borkowski, all of Webster City.
