Allers Selected for National Advisory Board
Ashley Allers, Director of Revenue Cycle, and Integrity, Compliance and Privacy Officer at Van Diest Medical Center, has been selected to sit on the National Association of Healthcare Revenue Integrity (NAHRI) Advisory Board.
The NAHRI Advisory Board is composed of a group of healthcare revenue professionals whose mission is to enhance revenue integrity through standards, advocacy, networking, and the promotion of shared knowledge and resources. The Board is made up of professionals from all over the country who bring a wide range of experience and expertise to the healthcare revenue integrity field.
Allers brings nearly 10 years of healthcare experience in management, revenue cycle, charge master, and Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation to the board. She has obtained her Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE), Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS), and Certified Revenue Integrity Professional (CRIP) certifications from the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) and her Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification through the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
Allers joined Van Diest Medical Center in 2012 as Business Office Manager with oversight of the Business Office and Patient Access Departments. Since that time, she was named Director of Revenue Cycle in 2016 adding direct oversight of the Health Information Management Department. In July of 2019, Allers also assumed the Integrity, Compliance and Privacy Office
