Richard Seiser celebrated his 80th birthday on Sunday, Feb. 20 in grand style, arriving at his party on board a fire engine.

Seiser spent 30 years with the Webster City Fire Department, including many years as Assistant Fire Chief.

Captain Brandon Hayes arrived at his home in Engine 33 on Sunday to escort Seiser to the party along with a caravan of his children and grandchildren.

More than 100 guests attended the party hosted by Seiser’s daughters, Tammy Seiser of Wisconsin, Terri Saunders of Arizona and Tina Poland of Webster City. His eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also attended the celebration.
