Fireworks, fishing, and more at Little Wall Lake Saturday!
There will be burgers on the grill, boats on the water and a fishing contest for kids at Little Wall Lake on Saturday.
Little Wall Bait and Tackle will be serving grilled burgers, hot dogs, chips and baked beans beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday. A fishing clinic will be held from 1-2 p.m. at the bait house; with a fishing contest set for 2-4 p.m Age divisions are ages 8 and younger, and ages 9-12. Prizes will be awarded in each division for the largest fish caught. Register for the contest at Little Wall Bait and Tackle.
DJ Kenny will provide music from 7 to 10 pm on the south side of the boathouse.
A volleyball tourney is also being planned. To participate, contact Mischelle Hardy at 515-290-0983. Hardy will also be taking registrations for the boat parade scheduled for dusk at the south boat dock.
Fireworks will cap off the evening following the boat parade.
