Dirk Dwayne Smid, 46, Normal, Ill. died Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Normal, Ill. He was born in Webster City on Dec. 2, 1961. Local survivors include his parents, Wayne and Billie Dunn Smid, and grandmother, Lola Dunn, all of Webster City.
