Race Day to be held on Saturday
Race Day was postponed recently due to weather, and has been rescheduled for Saturday, from 12-4, downtown. over 30 drivers with their race cars will be parked along the 600 block of Second Street, for attendees to chat with and peruse the cars. Those in attendance will also get an opportunity to vote for the best car. Downtown stores will also get in on the fun, with in-store specials and a scavenger hunt using racing trivia. Those participating need to look for the stores that have a race flag on their door. Prizes will be offered for those completing the scavenger hunt-with the correct answers.
Registration now open for YSF football
Regisitration is now open for the Youth Sports Foundation tackle football through Tuesday, May 20. Boys and girls who will be in fifth or sixth grade in Webster City or Stratford are encouraged to join. League fees are $50.
