Gone fishin'
Southfield hosted their Annual Brushy Creek Fishing Outing recently. Thirty-two residents, staff, and guests donned hats and held fishing poles waiting for a nibble on their line. A burger and brat cookout was a highlight of the day, even if it wasn't the catch of the day. Above, Marie Meyer and Alfred Burkle, both of Webster City, patiently wait for a fish to take the bait.
Stanhope school alumni invited to annual reunion
All alumni of the former Stanhope High School are invited to attend this year‚s reunion and banquet planned for 6:30 p.m. Friday evening, July 17. The event will be held at the Ellsworth, IA Community Center.
